and windows 98 sucks on them. it always crashes :\ and they keep on deleting AIM from the tech pc's. Our district must have something set up where if we turn off the pc's it deletes all stuff that was added to the pc in the last couple of days and stuff ;\

We can't get on the computers at my school without permission from a teacher, and even then, we have a librarian right behind us...

i switched OS's cuz XP is kinda boring now. the people in our library only get mad at us if we play games on the PC's, and i dont think they mind if the high schoolers do. All of the school computers are for "educational" use only, as my tech teacher says. "Turn off that game!" I have server 2003 enterprise now.

well the PCs suck anyway, they are AMD K6-2's, which are from 1998 so they are kind of old.

So it's like apprioxmately 5-6 years of good use? It's like kinda in good condition if they take care of the computers properly.

I use both Windows XP on one system and Mac OSX 10.3.9 (Panther) i prefer OSX than XP because of its ease of use. But XP is good cause loads of programes are based on the WINDOWS platform and good GAMES
