BackStabbing Guide for StarCraft! (Newbies!)
Welcome to User_Name’s Official BackStabbing Guide for StarCraft. This was written out of the goodness of my heart, for anyone wanting to know how to backstab. You can also say backstabbing is BSing, which I will refer to a lot in this. You are welcome to tell your friends about this, but please do not take credit for it! It took a long time for me to complete. It took like several weeks to do as my estimated release.
Right now I would like to thank all those who have helped me in the guide. Read below!
Pointers:
Start slow, then as you get better, go for bigger game. Consider starting with just a 3v1 "comp stomp" match to lure in some people to BS. After you get a feel of this, make another one and this time build some good defense, you will need these for later, trust me. Let's get started on this guide to backstabbing. Notes, important backstabbing messages are in below this guide, so please trust the source of it.
PLEASE NOTE/NOTICE: There are mulitple strategies. Please read all of them carefully to find the right one for your tastes and actions!
Protoss 1

These bad boys are perfect for BSing. Simply build some defense Photon Cannons (you will need a lot). Then, once you have you perfect defense (around 3-4 rows of Cannons around your entire base with Pylons to power up.), build Dragoons and Shuttles, these are the best because Dragoons are incredibly destructive, but the only way out of your base is by Shuttles or Arbiters (Recalling). If your opponents are newb enough, you can walk right into their base and just let loose. You wont need to worry about other player(s) attacking, your defense should hold up (remember). Of course by then everyone else is getting ready to attack you since you just practically shouted out that you were the BSer.

This one is a little tricky. First you need to do a little conning. Try and convince a player that he needs more defense. You offer to build him some, if you did this right, he will say OK. Once you have 9-14 cannons in his base, unally him. He will say “WTF are you doing? Stop!”. Just ignore it. You are a BSer now, you do not give a damn for the souls of pitiful noobs. Now, if you feel like watching him squirm really him with 1 supply depot/creep colony/pylon. This is a nice touch to say some sort of line, I will let you think of your own of course.
Terran 1

Ok, Terran is probably the most hated used race anyone has ever used. After you read this, I'll change your gaming. Goliath's are the best units for Terran if you are not a power miner. They cost 100 minerals and 50 vespene gas. While your Protoss partner is occuping him, make tons and tons of Goliaths. Make 6 factories and 2 Amories. Upgrade your Goliaths and you got some kick ass army. You can make over 100 Goliaths, now thats a force to be reconing with! It may get owned by loads of units, but Battlecruisers would do it.

Are you looking for a very exspensive unit? The Battlecruiser is the unit to look upon. They cost 400 minerals and 300 vespene gas, but by the time they are fully upgraded and you got a pack of 12 or even 24. Your minerals will be very low. If your playing a "2vs2 nr20" games, the Battlecruiser is the best unit for the long 20 minute wait. At the very begging, just mine minerals. When you average around 1000 minerals start mining vesepne (3 SCVs per vesepene) Soon, make a solid 35 SCVs to mine minerals and 3 per each vespene, providing you use 6 vespene miners. So thats a total of 53 SCVs. After, take 12 SCVs from your mineral department and use them to make 12 star ports. Make 2 armory and 1 science facility with a physics lab. By then you should have around 18,000 minerals and 10,000 vespene, more than enough to make around 24 Battlecruisers and some extra incase you need more. Remember, this tactic is very, very costly and if your not a great miner, I suggest you don't use this, BSing with low minerals is gonna get you killed! Same with low gas.

If you are wondering what to do in early games, then here's how. Get around 8 SCV's and mine the minerals. Get a SCV to build Barracks. Get more SCV's to mine and build more Barracks. Get Bunkers for ground early defense. Then, get gas to mine. Build an Academy for Firebats and Medics. Get an Enginenering Bay to upgrade your units. Put Marines into Bunkers. Get a shitload of Marines and Medics. Upgrade full-range Marines and Stim Pack. Rush out with 20 Marines and 10 Medics. More Marines are necessary. Start firing them up and BOOM! They're dead. Get another team of it and rush them again. Once you comply this strategy, you are the hero. You have defeated the computers or SC players.
Zerg 1
Written by Atuibi[SB]
Zerglings are very good for BSing... First thing you do, however, is do not make a Drone or anything with the 50 minerals you start with in the game. When you hit around 250 minerals, make a drone, then a Spawning Pool. Then wait. By the time the spawning pool is done, and if you played correctly, you should have about 200 gold, perfect for a group of 6 Zerglings. This works best with a 2vs1, because Zerglings aren't the greatest.
Now, for a few more players, You will need a defense, along with Hydralisks, and lurkers are awesome in a BS. Make sure though: If the newb is Protoss, kill any Observers or Cannons first or whatever inside of it. If Terran: Kill their Science Vessels, Turrets, and the Scanner Sweep beside their Command Center. If the enemy is Zerg as well: Destroy Overlords and Spore Colonies.

The Guardian Rush! The Guardian rush is a very good strategy, although Guardians can only attack ground, the are bombs from hell in mass. Make sure that there are about 3 computers so it will take some time for people to kill them. However, when you get 36 or so Guardians, you will wipe out the noob easily. Tell them to attack ground (Ctrl+A) area where buildings are. This is a great tactic instead of just destroying one building at a time.

Zerg strategy that requires a partner of any race. Have your partner build an expansion in your base. Justify this with "merging so that we will have better chances." Meanwhile, you go and unshare vision with everyone and make an expansion somewhere. At the expansion, make shit loads of Lurkers. This will give them the impression that you're making Lurkers out of your ass. But your ally being in your base will show that you're weak and wouldnt BS. It can be applied to any race, but I like lurks more, so, whatever. 0_o
The BSing FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
By Jammno
1. What's the worst thing that can happen in a backstab?
The worst thing that can happen during a backstab is that the combined group of people could rally against you and kill you. Other things may occur, such as a person getting killed by you may disconnect or leave. Some may use a lag hack, where the drop counter will intermittently count down to 0, and at that time, the Drop Players button won't function. If you aren't in it for the win, you can ctrl+alt+del out of it, but eventually it will go away when someone else closes SC.
2. I've had someone say that they are reporting me. What can I do?
Don't worry, they can't do anything. The battle.net admins don't care unless you were cheating on a ladder game, and if they happened to get your IP (wingate, etc), no ISP will cancel your account because you were 'backstabbing at StarCraft'. If they're determined enough, they may get your account number and threaten to get their clan after you. The worst thing their clan can do is challenge you to a 1v1, and all you'd have to do is decline.
3. What is your number one rule for backstabbing?
My number one rule for backstabbing is to always have a friend. Never backstab alone unless you're expecting to get taunted and defeated. A team of 2 backstabbers is great, 3 is also good, 4 is probably too many. Be ready to defend your teammate(s). Some people also find backstabbing alone to be rewarding, but I only recommend this if you're a good player. 7v1ers suck ass, but 6 of them is probably the equivalent of a good player. However, if you're a great player and think you can handle 6 of them alone, why? It's most likely more fun to backstab with a trusted friend than backstabbing alone.
4. What is the best race for backstabbing?
There are two races I would recommend in backstabs. The first is Terran, and not only because their first unit can attack ground AND air, but because of their gay liftoff ability. This will allow you to taunt Zerg and Protoss players without the fear that they'll rush you. Beware of other Terran players though, as they can attack air quickly. The second race I'd recommend in backstabbing is Zerg, because you can quickly have defensive troops. Be sure to make other troops than just the zergling, because Terran players can liftoff in the face of a zergling attack. Protoss sucks for rush/backstabbing (although some would debate this, it takes much longer to get troops in Protoss and they're much more expensive, rushing isn't ideal).
5. What is the best map for backstabbing?
Several maps are great for backstabbing, but I prefer The Hunters (NOT BGH). The Hunters doesn't permit turtling-and-teching up to carriers. I've played several games where the outcome was determined because the people we were backstabbing ran out of money. There are some other good maps, but as long as you don't have to distribute them to everyone (Blizzard approved maps), it's good.
6. I Hate Backstabbers
Well we hate you too, thats why we stab you. Do you get it now idiots?
7. Should I fight 1v1 with an enraged guy that is backstabbed?
It's Your Choice.
