Battle Guidlines And Tips:
Guidelines:
- When making a thread, please post the rules before you have a challenger.
- In a freestyle match, please credit the stocks and premade renders.
- NEVER rip ANYTHING. A user found ripping will be warned, and automatically lose the match.
- The Thread Title sequence should be as so:
______ vs. _______
When voting opens,
______ vs. ________ [Open Votes]
When winner is decided,
______ vs. _________ [WINNER HERE]
The above makes it easier for the battle records to be kept non-flawed, and if people dont know when the votes opened, they wont vote at all.
- You may forfeit, realizing the battle will still be recorded.
- Cursing of any kind is not allowed, but use of cursing is needed. Just don't do it too much.
- Putting a woman in your piece? Or even a man. Think it's porno? If you have doubt to wether or not it's allowed, PM me (Acer) or one of the Graphic Designers and ask, or just don't do it. If you post it, it may result in a warning, but if it's way over the line, an instant ban.
____________
Tips:
- Battling constantly is perhaps the best practice there is. Try and find opponents your skill level, and those of high skill, try not to target those of lower, and those of lower, it will happen, so instead of asking for challengers, be the challenger.
- The points system is basically for bragging rights. A constant battler may have less points than one who battled only one time, so be aware, and don't challenge people too good for you.
- Practice makes perfect. Eventually you will WANT to challenge the higher skill levels, and when you beat them, you have full bragging rights.
- No one accepting your call outs? Perhaps it is because you are a bad sport. Yes a bit of bragging is allowed, but overdoing it may make the opponent feel bad, and therefor scare off any would-be challengers.
- Last but not least, immediately PM staff if you believe a member is ripping. No not if you dont like them and want to get them back, if you have proof!
Official Graphic Battling Rules - Please Read:
Rules:
Please follow these rules while posting in Graphic Battles.
When Making A Thread:
After making a open challenge and being accepted. Don't make another thread, just place the two or more entries in the first place and change the name of the thread to "____ vs ____ [Open Voting].
This saves making a new poll.
Backing Up Your Vote:
Please dont simply post 'my vote goes to ... Nice job"
Give a short paragraph explaining why you voted. Maybe even give a suggestion.
Make Your Rules Clear:
Starting a battle? Waiting for your opponent? Maybe he/she isnt interested because your rules weren't clear enough to understand.
Please state specifically the size, colors, etc clearly so people understand what they are accepting.
Be Nice & Polite:
Kicking someones ass? Lets show it in a more professional way. Be nice, be polite. Lets not flame the person to death.
